FOLEY - Have you ever experienced fine dining outdoors, with the night sky above you and strung lights illuminating each course? If this is your idea of the perfect night out, then you don’t want to miss the Chicago Street Supper Club, happening on Friday, Oct. 15. The fine dining experience, hosted by the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, is held on North Chicago Street in Foley. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m., and dinner service begins at 7 p.m.
Attendees will enjoy a four-course meal prepared by local chefs with assistance from the Gulf Coast Culinary Institute. This year’s chefs include Paul Abel and Ryan Traudt of Wolf Bay Restaurants preparing the appetizer, Pete Blohme and Nick Dimario of Panini Pete Hospitality preparing the salad course, Zach Bridges of Rock Creek preparing the entrée, and Lora Bent of Wolf Bay Restaurants preparing the dessert. The menu for the evening can be found at www.southbaldwinchamber.com/chicago-street-supper-club or on Facebook @ChicagoStreetSupperClub. Each course is paired with the perfect selection of wine.
Cost for admission is $100 per person. Casual cocktail attire is recommended. Parking will be available around Heritage Park, with overflow parking available just east of Chicago Street. The annual event is sponsored by Manning's Piggly Wiggly, Wolf Bay Restaurants, Bon Secour Fisheries, Infirmary Surgical Specialists, Infirmary Cancer Care, Port City Rentals, and Riviera Utilities.
Seating for the event is limited. Tickets can be purchased on the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce website at www.southbaldwinchamber.com. For more information, contact Rachel Spear at 251-943-5550 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
