Eunice Louise Rummel Cooper

Eunice Louise Rummel Cooper, 79, passed away on June 26, 2013 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola. She resided in Pensacola.

Eunice was born April 25, 1934 in Elberta, and was raised there. Her parents were Frieda and Herman Rummel.

She graduated from Foley High School in 1952. She went on to attend Auburn University, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in clothing and textiles.

Eunice worked at Walt Disney World for more than 10 years, and was also a talented seamstress.

She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by five sons, Dana Ralph Cooper of Alabama, Mark Douglas Cooper (Brenda) of Alabama, Todd Darrell Cooper of Alabama, Dr. Lyle Cooper (Denise) of Alabama and Drew Rummel Cooper (Jennee) of Florida; a daughter, Lori Louise Cooper of Florida; grandchildren, Briana Wolford, Katrina Patterson, Dana Beth Cooper, Andrew Cooper, Lyle Cooper II, Amber Cooper, Adam Cooper, Maddie Cooper, Lindsey Cooper, Lee Cooper and Paige Cooper; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church (1900 Gulf Shores Pkwy.) on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at 2 p.m. Visitation will be from 1 until the time of the service.
