Esther Beasley Thompson, 85, a native of Mobile and resident of Robertsdale, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at her home.
Mrs. Thompson was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, dedicating her life to her family.
She will be forever loved and truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Thompson; three brothers, Glenn Beasley, Emmit Beasley and Alvin Beasley; sister, Sybil Turner; grandchild, Ricky Doyle Thompson Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler Isiah Thompson and Chadrick Thompson.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice (John) Tarver of Montgomery; three sons, Wayne Thompson of Robertsdale, Larry (Robynne) Thompson of Pace, Fla. and Ricky (Janice) Thompson of Robertsdale; two sisters, Glenda Douglas of Eight Mile and Jeanette Davis of Chickasaw; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home chapel in Robertsdale, with burial in New Cooper Cemetery.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Friday, from 1 until 2 p.m.
