ESAC ready to ‘Paint the Town’

The Eastern Shore Art Center presents Paint the Town 2007” on the streets of downtown Fairhope on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Come out and watch well-known local artists paint town scenes. Maps of where the artists are painting will be available at the Eastern Shore Art Center, located on the corner of Oak and Section streets.

Participating artists are Ann Calagaz, Pat D’Olive, Charlotte Green, Erin Fitzhugh Gregory, Bill Harrison, Denise Inge, Theresa Lepre, Jean-Marie McDonnell, Taylor Moore, Candi Richards and Val Webb.

There will be a preview party on May 3 for Art & Flowers and a silent auction for the works of Paint the Town and Art Treasures Auction.

Paintings by the artists will be interpreted in flower arrangements by local and amateur designers at the preview party.

Admission to the preview is $10 per person, and includes food from local restaurants, beer, wine and music. Bidding on Paint the Town and Art Treasures Auction items will conclude at 8 p.m. on Friday, during First Friday ArtWalk.
