Ermine Loraine Cook, 90, native of Covington, Ky. and resident of Foley, passed away Friday, Dec. 26, 2014.
Loraine was a Sunshine volunteer at West Florida Hospital for 20 years, where she was known and loved by many people.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Cook Sr.; and a son, Michael Cook.
She is survived by son, Donald (Betty) Cook of Foley; daughters, Patricia Cook of Robertsdale and Michelle (John) Splawn of Lincolnton, N.C.; daughter-in-law, Dawn Cook of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at 11:45 a.m., in Barrancas National Cemetery at NAS Pensacola.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
