Entries still being taken for Dec. 8 boat parade

GULF SHORES & ORANGE BEACH, Ala - The 27th Annual Christmas Lighted Boat Parade will be Dec. 8, at 5:30 p.m. beginning from LuLu's at Homeport Marina in Gulf Shores.

The parade will travel east down the Intracoastal Canal, pass The Wharf in Orange Beach, and keep east until rounding Bear Point. Then it will head south toward Ono Island, and head west toward Perdido Pass.

It will make a north turn and circle around Terry Cove then back south to Perdido Pass Bridge, head west and end at Zeke's Landing Marina. The parade should end approximately at 8:30 pm.

Parade slots are available for anyone wishing to place their boat in the parade. For information, please contact Lauren Turner at the Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce at 251-968-6091.
