James A. “Jay” Enfinger, 80, born in Molino, Fla., and a resident of Spanish Fort since 1965, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at home.
He was a graduate of Tate High School and retired as a dispatcher with 40 years of service at CSX Railroad. He was a member of Spanish Fort United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Patricia Bonifay Enfinger of Spanish Fort; three daughters, Kim D. (Peter) Havas, Deda Babb, and Melissa E. (David) Smith, all of Spanish Fort; two brothers, Everette Enfinger and Fillmore Enfinger, both of Pensacola, Fla.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Thursday, May 7 at Spanish Fort United Methodist Church. Graveside services and interment were held Friday, May 8at Whitmire Cemetery in Pensacola.
