ELSANOR, Ala. — The Elsanor Community Center members would like to extend an invitation to the community to attend monthly meetings and be a part of the ongoing maintenance and improvements to the center.

The funding for maintenance and improvements to the center is derived from rentals, donations and fund raisers. The next meeting will be Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. New officers for the coming year will be elected at this meeting. Your ideas and opinions are welcomed. The members of the Center would like to welcome everyone in Elsanor Community to come join them for meetings and all event dates.

Plans are being made to have a community potluck dinner on Sept. 25 at the center. Plan to bring a covered dish with your favorite food and join in for an evening of fellowship. A community-wide yard sale is in the planning for Oct. 9. If you are interested you can rent a space for a small fee for you to set up your yard sale items. All sales of your goods are yours to keep. There will also be a bake sale and concession stand with drinks, barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs and chips.
