Elmer A. Cox Jr., age 48, passed away Oct. 11, 2012.
A great man that passed away peacefully at his home, who lived a short life but was the best of friend to his supportive fiancée whom cared for him greatly even till the end. Cox shared a long loving time with his fiancée caring for her and loved her two daughters, his family, and stepfamily. Survived by his loving fiancée, Adella Jackson McCarley; his mother, Mary A. Cox daughters, Paige Lewis and Elaine Lawrence; several brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and was a wonderful step-dad to two loving step-daughters. A memorial service will be held; friends and family will be contacted.
