Elizabeth Reynolds Havard, 98, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 7, 2014 in Hilo, Hawaii.
She was born Oct. 1, 1915 in Fairhope, and was the daughter of the late Verdi and Susie Reynolds. She had lived in Mobile, Seattle, Washington, D.C., Pensacola and Gulf Shores.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse B. Havard Sr.; and beloved son, Michael L. Havard.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Mildred Cooke (Richard Pacheco Jr); son, Jesse B. Havard Jr. (Rebecca); daughter-in-law, Diane Havard; granddaughters, Raycee and Kirrah Cooke, and Stacey Havard; and grandsons, Christopher, Mickey and Eric Havard; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family extends a special thank you to longtime caregivers, Keith Kehaulani Ka’aukai and Myrna Ablao.
Funeral services will be held at Shell Banks Baptist Church, 12125 State Hwy. 180 in Gulf Shores, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2014.
