Eleanor Elizabeth "Liz" Rush Morgan passed away on Aug. 30, 2016 in Fairhope, Alabama.
She was born on July 28, 1956 in Charleston, West Virginia to parents James and Rosalie Rush. She lived in several states throughout her lifetime, but spent the last 25 years in the Fairhope area.
She was passionate about animals and loved gardening, going to the beach and spending time with her family.
She was a member of Barnwell Baptist Church.
Liz is survived by her longtime companion, Bob Merz; sons, James Rush, John Paul Rush (Rachelle); daughter, Stephanie Mansmann (Jonathon); grandson, Alexander Mansmann; father, James C. Rush; and sister, Carol Davis; her best friend, Jenny Langenback; ex-husband, Paul Morgan; and a host of "adopted" kids, extended family and friends .
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosalie Rush.
A memorial service celebrating Liz's life will be held on Sept. 10, 2016 at 5:45 p.m. at Barnwell Baptist Church, 7920 U.S. 98 ALT, Fairhope, AL 36532.
A sunset farewell at The Point will follow the service.
