Raymond Eicher, 89, a native of Ithaca, Mich., and a resident of Foley, died Tuesdasy, June 13, 2007 at his residence.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include eight children, Terry Eicher, Ted Eicher, Trudy Brassfield, Toni Willis, Debbie Braden, Timmy Eicher, Cheryl Morgan and Patty Cunningham; three sisters, Helen Underwood, Jane Lipscome and Esther Kohen; brother, Eugene Eicher; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews, other relatives, friend and beloved canine companion, Bootsie.
Visitation will be held beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16 at Pine Rest Funeral Home.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Odyssey Health Care, 9805 Milwood Circle, Daphne, AL 36526.
