Things are changing rapidly! The Internet should be a critical part of every business - not simply - "Yes we have a Web site."
The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Business Academy continues to offer courses featuring topics to help the business community succeed and soar. The next workshop entitled "Effectively Market Your Business on the World Wide Web", with Kathy Estadt, Fresh Focus Group and Marcus Neto, Blue Fish Design Studio is scheduled for Wednesday, November 17, 9 am – Noon at 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center on the Causeway in Spanish Fort.
The workshop is sponsored by Advanced Payroll Solutions, Inc.; New Horizons Credit Union; Constantine Human Resource Consulting, LLC; Huntingdon College; Daphne Utilities; Mobile Airport Authority and Hartmann, Blackmon & Kilgore, PC.
“This is going to be a very interactive seminar so bring laptops,” said Estadt. “It’s our intention that each participant will come away with a strategic plan to begin or ramp up their online marketing.”
Participants will learn how to leverage the power of the Internet. They will learn how to: attract more traffic to their Web sites; create/acquire quality content; convert traffic into sales;best practices for SEO (search engine optimization) and SEM (search engine marketing); social marketing and more.
“The information at this seminar will be accessible to everyone. So those who are not ‘computer people' should fear not,” said Neto. “Come have fun with us!”
