FAIRHOPE, Ala. — “Under New Management” is a mystery set in Peachtree, Ga. Jed Williams has only begun his day as a new sheriff, after being deputy for the last several years. The sheriff he replaces was a good friend who passed away. Jed will miss him.

But his first day of work will begin totally off routine for everyone; including a missing young woman. He and his team try hard to find her but meet many dead ends. Will he discover her before she becomes a statistic?

This is a book of a small rural town, made up of course. It is complete with a family for Jed who loves and supports him and his new first day, which is anything but “normal.”

Characters will surround the sheriff and are as loyal as they can prove to be.

And, of course it is a mystery. Expect excitement, thrills, surprises and of course perhaps a murder.

Author Rose Murphy of Fairhope has published her second mystery. She enjoys the mysteries and finds them hard to put down.

Her last book, “Time” came out early in 2009 and now “Under New Management” makes its debut.

This story is different from her last, but with a twist of surprises and secrets to go along. It is a great way to spend an occasion with a moment or two to try to discover who did it.

This is a book you will not want to put down, until it is finished of course.

For now, the book is available on Amazon.com. Also, expect to find it at Barnes and Noble.
