Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce to hold economic luncheon Jan. 25

DAPHNE, Ala.—The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce will hold an economic luncheon on Jan. 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Original Oyster House on the Causeway in Spanish Fort.

Donald Epley, real estate professor and Real Estate Studies Center director at the University of South Alabama Mitchell College of Business, will be the guest speaker.

“What he’ll be talking about as far as we know is the economy. That’s all we know,” Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce communications coordinator Kathie Barton said.

Epley is a licensed real estate broker and certified general appraiser. He received the 1999 Washington State University Faculty Teaching Award from the Disabled Students Association.

The registration fee is $20 for Chamber of Commerce members and $25 for potential members. For more information, call 928-6387.
