Earl Theodore Colwill, 78, of Gulf Shores died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013.
Mr. Colwill was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Marie Colwill Swayne.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Colwill; daughters, Desiree (Kent) Dixon of Gulf Shores and Donna Renee Owens of Perdido; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at Pine Rest Funeral Home chapel in Foley, with interment to follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m., prior to the service.
The family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice for all of their help and support during this difficult time.
