Allen Marcel Duplesis, 84, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Elberta, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 in Foley.
He was a member of Faith Tabernacle
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Duplesis Skaggs.
Survivors include six sons, Allen A. Duplesis of Foley, Renaldo A. Duplesis of Elsanor, Antoino A,. Duplesis of Bonifay, Fla., Gary M. Duplesis of Summerdale, Victor J. Duplesis of Summerdale and Roy Harrison of Elberta; five daughters, Dale Hinote of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Phyllis Ann August of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Evelina Hilburn of Pensacola, Fla., Lisa Salter of Robertsdale, Roxanne Copas of Gulf Shores; brother, Warren Duplesis of New Orleans; 33 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and longtime caregiver, Anita Hart of Elberta.
Visitation begins at noon with funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
