Myrtle Louise Brown Duck, 93, a native and resident of the Crossroads community of Bay Minette, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2008 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded id death by her husband Fred Breton Duck and infant son, Robert Stanley Duck.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Duck (Milton) Wheeler of Hattiesburg, Miss., Judy Duck (Mike) Wade of Crossroads and Darlene Duck (David) Cook of Thomasville, Ga.; four grandchildren, April (Andy) Johnson, Breton (Jessica) Wade, John Cook and Kelsey Cook; two great-grandchildren, Jade Johnson and Delaney Faircloth; two brothers, Lawrence (Virgie) Brown and Dale (Louise) Brown, all of Crossroads; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 18 at Durant Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Gilstrap and Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial followed at Durant Chapel Baptist Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Durant Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund, 9551 Highway 138, Bay Minette, AL 36507 or the Alabama Baptist Children's Home or Gideons International.
Arrangements were made Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
