Preschool students of Open Door Christian School celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss on Friday, March 2, by wearing pajamas to school. Each enjoyed servings of green eggs and ham during snack. In preparation of this day, teachers read a number of Dr. Seuss books and directed art projects, including a hat for each preschool student to wear from Dr. Seuss’ book, The Cat-in-the Hat. Even the teachers got in on the fun wearing house coats and funny slippers to school! Older student dressed as characters from Dr. Seuss’ books. The students enjoyed a day in memory of an author who made reading loads of fun.
