Lisa Michele Downey, 34, died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in Perdido.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Perdido. She came to join the family on Sept. 21, 1976 and attended the Semirah Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Elaine Downey of Perdido; two brothers, Jason (Stephanie) Downey of Perdido and Jeremy (Stephanie) Downey of Perdido; sister, Tina (Gary) Butcher of Jacksons Gap; her grandfather, James G. Ganey of Monroe, La.; five nieces and four nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 6 at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 7 at Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Burley, the Rev. Bobby Boatwright and the Rev. Ronald Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
