Dottie Locklear, 73, a resident of Bay Minette, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014.
Mrs. Locklear was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Mrs. Locklear was preceded in death by her parents, William and Essie Lee Foley; nephew, Little Mike Foley; brother-in-law, Eric Scott; and great-niece, Destiny Hope Scott.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Billy R. Locklear of Bay Minette; five sons, Ronnie (Sharon) Shank of Texas, Mike (Debbie) Shank of Warner Robbins, Ga., Randy (Loretta) Shank of Bay Minette, Martin (Lisa) Shank of Mobile and Ray Locklear of Mobile; a daughter, Kathy (Ed) King of Bay Minette; a brother, Micheal (Jackie) Foley of Woodstock, Ga.; three sisters, Joan (Gordan) Heflin of Pensacola, Sandra Hall of Crestview, Fla. and Patty Scott of Cartersville, Ga.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 20, 2014, at 2 p.m., at Boyington Cemetery in Robertsdale.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale.
