Dorothy Louise Calame, 91, a native of Huntsville and resident of Fairhope, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013.
Mrs. Calame was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to quilt and was a member of the Loxley Quilt Club.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin R. Calame Sr. of Fairhope; a son, Edwin R. (Cynthia) Calame Jr. of Orrville, Ala.; a daughter, Colinne C. (Jack W.) Howard of Fairhope; five grandchildren, Timothy Howard, Ashley Howard, Melanie Howe, Jacolinne Howard and Victoria Howard; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 6, 2013, from 5-7 p.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 8, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville, Ala.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
