Dorothy B. Amoroso, 87, a native of Florala, a former resident of Pensacola, Fla., and Fairhope, and a current resident of Elsanor, died Saturday, April 21, 2012.
Mrs. Amoroso was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Amoroso and son, William Robert “Billy Bob” Amoroso.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Armantrout of Santa Fe, Texas; brothers, Ted and Talmage Gautney; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special niece, Barbara Mousseau; and many more nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Thursday, April 26, 2012, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Friday, April 27, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
