Doris Jeanette Mixon Evers, age 77, born in Midway, Ala and a resident of Bay Minette, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, David (Denise) Evers of Powhatan, Va. and four grandchildren, Geoffery Jackson of Norfolk, Va, Stephanie Evers of Gainesville, Fla, Tiffany Evers of Tuscaloosa, Ala and Michael Evers of Tuscaloosa, Fla. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
