Dorine D. Sturdivant, 92, born in Tillatoba, Miss. and a resident of Daphne, passed away at a local health care facility on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013.
She was an active member of the Eastern Shore Church of Christ.
Mrs. Sturdivant was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Sturdivant Sr.
She is survived by two sons, John D. (Candice) Sturdivant of Daphne and Robert B. (Merry) Sturdivant of Mobile; two daughters, D’Lo S. (Angel) Trejo of Tallahassee, Fla. and Deena S. McMullen of Elberta; four grandchildren, Vivian Leigh Nichols, Edwin Sturdivant and Geoffrey and Nicholas Sturdivant; and many great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at 11 a.m., at Eastern Shore Church of Christ, with Bryant Evans officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Eastern Shore Church of Christ, Daphne, AL.
Private graveside services will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
