Dora Ruth McCurdy, 84, a native of Atmore and resident of Foley, passed away Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011.
She is survived by four daughters, Carrle Williamson of Foley, Annie Ganey of Robertsdale, Faye McCurdy of Foley and Frances Barnes of Foley; four sons, Carl Philyaw, Earl Philyaw, Charles Paul Philyaw and Ray Philyaw, all of Foley; 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, from 3 until 5 p.m.
Funeral services will be held from Berean Baptist Church in Elberta on Monday, Sept. 19, 2011 at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
