ROBERTSDALE, Ala. -- An episode of “Dog and Beth: On The Hunt,” part of which was filmed in Robertsdale and the surrounding area, is set to air this Saturday on the CMT network.

The episode was filmed in March after veteran bondsman Gage Huffstatler of Fast Feet Bail Bonds reached out to Duane “Dog” Chapman, his wife Beth and their crew which also includes son Leland and grandson Dakota.

The episode was originally set to air on Saturday, July 12, but was postponed just before it was set to air.

Their new show first aired in March of 2013 and follows the team around the country helping local bail bond companies track down fugitives, said Rick Wilkinson, a co-executive producer of the show.

In an interview in March Angel Griggs, an agent at Fast Feet in Robertsdale, said Huffstatler reached out to the Chapmans after meeting them at a convention in New Orleans.

The episode will air at 8 p.m. locally Saturday, Aug. 2 on the CMT network and again at 9 p.m. The episode will air again at 11 p.m. Sunday and 3 p.m. Monday.

This will be the second episode to air this season from Baldwin County. A previous episode focused on the Chapmans’ efforts to help longtime bondsman Royce Kyser and his family at A+ Bail Bonds in Foley.

The episode was also dedicated to Kyser, who passed away in May.
