Richard Glenn Digmon, 58, a native of Atmore, a former resident of Columbus, Ga., and a resident of Perdido, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009 in Columbus, Ga.

He attended the Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nancy Digmon Jr. and two brothers, Jimmy Digmon and Owen Digmon.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Flowers Digmon of Phenix City; daughter, Sheena Baker of Griffin, Ga.; two grandchildren, Andrew Baker and Emily Baker; and two sisters, Patsy Weekley of Perdido and Diane Rich of Woodstock, Ga.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 7 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Grindle officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Rick Burkett, Mark Burkett, Sam Hitchcock, John Rieben, Michael Stewart and Ray Digmon.

Arrangements were made by Petty-Eastside Funeral Homes, LLC, Atmore.
