Denta Quest donates wagons to Children's of Alabama

Posted

On Wednesday, July 27th, Denta Quest Care Group, Sarrell Regional Dental Center, donated 17 painted wagons to Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham. Wagons are used by the hospital as a fun way to transport patients, and often times it is what the children remember most from their stay.

Sarrell Dental Center, a nonprofit who also serves children in the state of Alabama, challenged their staff in each of their 17 locations, to design a wagon that would be donated to the hospital and used to brighten a child’s day. Needless to say, the response was overwhelming and the final designs were incredible. It was obvious that Sarrell Dental’s staff truly put their hearts into their work.

The Community Outreach Team for Sarrell Dental delivered the wagons to Children’s Hospital, and the experience was unforgettable. Seeing the excitement and joy on each child’s face as all 17, brightly painted wagons were walked through the lobby of the hospital was heartwarming.

Giving children something to smile about is an everyday experience at Sarrell Dental Center. As part of the Denta Quest Care Group, Sarrell Dental’s network of nonprofit dental clinics ensures access to quality and preventative care by serving the needs of Alabama’s children through 17 locations. This philanthropic effort is an important part of Sarrell’s ongoing commitment to support Alabama families and improve the wellbeing of their children. Whether that is accomplished through dental care, to ensure healthy teeth and gums, or by facilitating programs such as this Red Wagon donation to Children’s of Alabama Hospital; Sarrell works to bring a smile to the faces of Alabama children.
