Dennis Michael Mckinney, 76, a native of El Monte, Calif., and a resident of Lillian, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010.
He was a graduate of St. Gregory High School in Chicago and was an active member of the Hanover Park community in Illinois for over 25 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Harrison McKinney of Lillian; two daughters, Kathleen McKinney (Ted) Gorman and Peggy McKinney (Howard) Silverblatt; son, Kevin McKinney (Pamela Packer); sister, Terry McKinney Dudek; grandchildren, Samantha Gorman, Pfc. Scott Silverblatt, Kim Silverblatt, Jessica McKinney, Sydney McKinney, Dawn Paladino Bucher, Bobby Paladino, C.J. Mckinney, Nick McKinney, Andy McKinney and Angela Packer; great-grandchildren, Joshua Bucher, Brendan Bucher and Christopher Strickland.
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lillian. Visitation and lunch will be served after service at the church.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Mary’s Shelter Gulf Coast, P.O. Box 18, Elberta, AL 36530.
Cremation arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Robertsdale.
