DEER
David Andrew Deer, 76, a native of Canoe, a U.S. Navy veteran and a resident of Point Clear, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007.
Survivors include his loving wife, Lavonia Deer of Point Clear; three sons, Terry Deer of Fairhope, James Andrew Deer of Panama City Beach, Fla., William Eugene Deer of Phenix City; step-son, Kenneth McDowell of Spanish Fort; daughter, Marie Sluder of Point Clear; a brother, Buddy Deer of Stapleton; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 at Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to cancer research, or diabetes foundation.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
