Deborah Lynn “Debbie” Hancock, 51, of Daphne, died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at her home.
She was born in Warren, Ohio, and had lived in Baldwin County for most of the past 40 years.
She had been employed with Lowery Animal Clinic in Saraland as a vet tech for 13 years, and of course had a great love for animals. She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and dearly loved and adored her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly H. (Eric) Helms of Daphne and Shawanda Lee Hancock of Mobile; two sisters, Kathy Webb of Pensacola, Fla., and Peggy Pearce of Foley; brother, Albert Joiner of Ohio; four grandchildren, Brandon, Skyler, Taylor Brooke and Brayden; other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 5:30 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5 at Faith Family Fellowship Church in Spanish Fort.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Faith Family Fellowship Preschool or to The Haven.
