Day Break Senior Day Care is a self-supporting community outreach program available to adults in Baldwin County who are 55 years of age or older and suffer from Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia such as may require constant supervision. Day Care is available each Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The center is located in the Winn Dixie shopping center, Highway 59, Gulf Shores. Potential participants or those wishing to learn about volunteer opportunities are invited to contact Dolly Crewes at 251-968-3634 or dollycrewes@gmail.com or Amelia Fletcher (Director of Servant Ministries at Gulf Shores United Methodist Church) at 251-968-2549 or Amelia@gulfshoresumc.org. The cost for participants is $20 per visit and all must be preregistered.
