Bernice Catrett Day, 91, a resident of Stockton, died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Oakwood Nursing Home in Bay Minette.
She worked several years at Cox Store and Hasties Store in Stockton. She was an active member of Stockton Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Annie and Robert Catrett; three sisters, Robbie Day, Velma Cabaniss and Marie Knowles; brother, James E. Catrett; and infant daughter, Barbara Jean Day.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Fred D. Day; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 7 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Mann officiating. Burial followed at Richerson Cemetery in Stockton.
Pallbearers were Alan Day, Philip Day, David Diehl, Joey Hester, Jeff Hester and Joey Lins.
Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
