A clutch performance won over Gulf Coast Media readers and Daphne’s John Davis was selected as the Week 5 winner of the Seacrest Furniture Athlete of the Week.

In the Trojans’ fourth-quarter comeback attempt against No. 9 Baker, the senior receiver came through when needed the most. Davis caught all 6 of his targets for 70 receiving yards with not only a touchdown but also the ensuing 2-point conversion catch.
