David Lane “Barney” Robinson, 47, a native of Pascagoula, Miss. and a resident of Bay Minette, died Thursday, Jan. 20. 2011 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
He was a ship fitter at Ingall’s Shipbuilding.
Survivors include his mother, Fay “Doll” Robinson of Bay Minette; four brothers, Joseph (Deborah) Robinson of Rosenberg, Texas, James L. Robinson Jr., Daniel E. (Catherine) Robinson and Philip N. Robinson, all of Bay Minette; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21 at Norris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bruce Armstead officiating. Cremation will follow at a later date.
