David Eugene Lankford, 69, of Summerdale passed away on Oct. 8, 2013.
He was a United States Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Y. Lankford of Summerdale; one son, Brian Lankford of Foley; three daughters, April (Jody) Smith of Panama City, Fla., Jodie (Ronnie) Lankford of Baton Rogue, La. and Amy (Blake) Garrison of Summerdale; one sister, Michelle Lankford of Foley; two brothers, John and Chris, both of Alabama; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at 6 p.m., from the Bridge Church in Summerdale.
The family asks that donations be made to the church.
