DAPHNE, Ala. — Supporting Educational Enrichment in Daphne’s Schools invites writers of all ages and from every Baldwin County community to add their thoughts to the Daphne Writes vacation blog at seedsindaphne.wordpress.com.

Participants are currently sharing comments on the following topic:

Tell about something you have learned this summer — something that made you stop and think.  Where were you? Who was with you and what were you doing? What else do you remember? How did it make you feel?

Selected writers will be invited to read their work at the next Coffee with the Mayor event on July 29 at Daphne City Hall. Gift-card prizes will also be presented to the winning authors.

Daphne Writes! is a community learning project that invites writers of all ages to share their thoughts on timely themes and important issues.
