DAPHNE, Ala.—July 18-22, coaches from Challenger Sports will take over the fields at the Al Trione Sports Complex to teach local children soccer skills.

The traveling coaching team selected to run the British Soccer camps use an innovative coaching technique that is fun, gives the children a personal challenge, maximizes participation and gives constant positive feedback.

Children ages 4 to 6 can participate in mini soccer sessions that last an hour and a half. Registration fees for these sessions cost $73. The sessions will be from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. or 9:40 a.m. to 11:10 a.m.

Children ages 6 to 8 can participate in half-day sessions each day from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. for $99.

Children ages 9 to 14 can participate in a half-day session from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for $99 and children ages 12 to 16 can participate in a full day camp from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for $149.

Registration is due by July 8 and can be completed online at www.challengersports.com.

Each child will receive a shirt and a soccer ball.
