DAPHNE, Ala.—The Daphne Public Library will hold a “Career Cruising” tutorial on Feb. 22 from 4-5 p.m. in the library.

“It’s both for the teens and for people looking to change their career,” Library Director Tonja Young said.

The tutorial is part of the new career database the library will provide to residents.

“It’s a database we have to pay for but the citizens can use it from the library or from home,” Young said. “It has all types of information about jobs, what type of educations is needed, what different jobs entail, how to do a resume and how to do an interview. (It provides) anything you would need to know on how to look for a job.”

Young adult librarian Louise Youngblood will teach the class.
