Daphne police solve multiple burglaries with three arrests including two juvenile suspects

DAPHNE, Ala.—Daphne police apprehended three suspects whom police believe are responsible for one residential burglary and 15 car burglaries in Daphne.

After police apprehended the suspects, $5,000 worth of stolen property was recovered. The total amount of property reported stolen was worth $15,000, police said.

Daphne Police reported property was recovered from other jurisdictions in Baldwin County in addition to Daphne. The property stolen by the suspects included guns, electronics, sunglasses, money and other items, police said.

Police arrested Joe Hawkins Menefee, 18, of Daphne along with two juvenile suspects whose names have not been released by police. Menefee has been charged with multiple counts of receiving stolen property, unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and possession of a pistol without a permit and possession of marijuana.

The two unnamed juvenile suspects have been charged with multiple counts of receiving stolen property, possession of a pistol and one count of possession of marijuana.
