DAPHNE, Ala.—Daphne police are seeking an unidentified man whom they believe broke into a vehicle parked at Alligator Alley. The suspect allegedly stole a credit card from the vehicle and later used the card in Mobile.

According to police, the crime occurred on June 12 after the victim parked his vehicle at around 6:30 p.m. While the vehicle was parked, the suspect broke the driver’s-side window and stole the credit card, which was in a purse and was visible in the front seat, police said.

The suspect used the card to fill his car with gas at a service station in Spanish Fort before heading toward Mobile. The credit card was later used at a Mobile convenience store. Police said they didn’t know what the suspect purchased there.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the man in the tank top at the forefront of the photo to contact police. The suspect may be driving a late 1980s or early 1990s Chevy Suburban.

Anyone with information should call the Daphne Police at 251-621-9100.
