DAPHNE, Ala.— The Daphne Police Department is searching for Jennifer Foster, 24, in relation to two theft charges and is seeking the assistance of the community to find her.

Daphne Police Department Cpl. Jason Vannoy said Foster was identified as a suspect after watching the surveillance video from Hooters, where she stole a phone from a female employee on June 7. Foster is also suspected to have stolen a cellular phone from a female employee at Longhorn on June 8.

Vannoy said the phone calls made on the phone stolen from Hooters were also helpful in identifying Foster as the suspect.

In each instance, the suspect entered the restaurant and asked the victims to use their cell phone, police said. When the victims allowed the person to use their phones, she told them she could not hear and needed to finish the conversation outside. The suspect left the restaurant with the phones and never returned them, police said.

Both phones stolen were smartphones, Vannoy said.

Foster, who is 5-foot-2, and weighs 105 pounds, is wanted for two counts of property theft.

Foster has no known address, Vannoy said. The address listed on her driver’s license is no longer her residence. Vannoy said investigators have been told Foster is homeless.

Police believe Foster is working with an unidentified accomplice. The unknown accomplice is identified as a white female with very short blonde hair. The accomplice is alleged to have stolen two iPhones, one from Bay House Pub and another from Top of the Bay Lounge. The accomplice’s victims have all been males.

Anyone with information about the crimes or the location of Foster should call the Daphne Police Department at 251-621-9100.
