Sierra Patterson came alive the second half, finishing with a double-double on 3-of-7 shooting from the field for 11 points, and 10 rebounds (5 offensive). Henton pulled down 11 rebounds on the night, while Yelding had 10 points.

Daphne coach Tereance Pinkney was pleased with his team's performance, stating “We are hoping to make a trip to Birmingham this season. We went 18-7 last year, losing in the Sub-Regional Finals to McGill- Toolen. We have a lot of work to do and although the effort isn't quite where it needs to be, I am hopeful we will get there.”
