DAPHNE — Dr. Joe Foster, of The Center for Family Health and Wellness in Daphne, has joined Learning Curves, an international group of doctors who volunteer their time and resources to provide an education curriculum for students, parent groups and teacher organizations.
The goal is to help raise body awareness and provide opportunities for people to make better decisions about their lifestyle and their health.
Learning Curves’ initiatives are written by educators and are delivered by doctors to help children understand their bodies, make good choices regarding behaviors and activities, and to help parents and teachers understand these concepts so they can become better role models, according to a spokesperson.
For more information about the program, or Foster’s education and awareness programs, call The Center for Family Health and Wellness Inc., at 621-9010.
