Daphne author to speak on his new thriller Wednesday

DAPHNE — The Daphne Public Library will host Jubilee Mornings on Wednesday, May 2, 10 a.m., at the library.

The guest author for this event will be Dr. Reilly Maginn, a local award-winning author, retired physician, sailor and master gardener.

Maginn will discuss and read from his debut novel, “Bio,” a medical thriller telling the tale of viral bioterrorism in the South Pacific and the volunteer physician who confronts the terrorists.

The public is invited to hear Maginn speak about his newest books and his writing at the Wednesday event, which will be held in the conference room of the Daphne Public Library.

The library is located at the corner of U. S. Highway 98 and Whispering Pines Road in Daphne.

Refreshments will be provided by Friends of Daphne Public Library.
