Daphne and Fairhope invite communities for July 4th fireworks shows

EASTERN SHORE, Ala.— The Eastern Shore will host two Fourth of July celebrations tomorrow, one in Daphne and one in Fairhope.

The Daphne celebration kicks off at 5 p.m. and will include concessions, inflatable bounce houses and games for the whole family. Fireworks will be displayed starting at dusk, around 9 p.m. The event will be hosted at Trione Sports Complex off Whispering Pines Road.

Fairhope’s Independence Day celebration with a concert and fireworks display will take place in Henry George Park and and Fairhope municipal pier. The festivities will include a concert at 6 p.m. by Doc Rogers and Rock Dodgers followed by a Baldwin Pops concert at 7:30 p.m. in Henry George Park. The band, RockSolid, will perform in the South Beach Park at 3 p.m. This group is made up of senior high school students from all over Alabama.

The fireworks display will begin at approximately 9 p.m.

Trash collection for Daphne was made up today and will be in Fairhope and Spanish Fort on Friday, July 5.
