Dan Sherling Davis, 63, born Jan. 26, 1951 in York and a longtime resident of Baldwin County, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 at his home after a long illness.
Mr. Davis graduated from Organic School in Fairhope and joined the Navy after graduation.
He returned to Spanish Fort and worked various jobs until he retired. He settled in Summerdale and lived there for two years until his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben M. Davis and Anna Sherling Davis.
He is survived by a brother, Ben M. “Mike” Davis Jr. of Stockton; a sister, Anna Davis Boulware of Dadeville; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, from 10:30 a.m. until the service at Norris Funeral Home.
