In 1971, Cindy graduated from Foley High School, where she played clarinet in the band and was active in the American Field Service Club.

She graduated from Mastin School of Nursing in Mobile.

Until retiring, Cindy was a registered nurse and had worked for hospitals in Alabama and Louisiana. In Baldwin County, she was employed at South Baldwin Regional Hospital in Foley and Thomas Hospital in Fairhope.

Cindy was known as a highly competent, caring nurse, and she was saddened that her career was cut short because of health issues.

She was a former member of First Baptist Church of Fairhope and First Presbyterian Church of Foley, where she was baptized as an infant and was active in the youth group.

The family includes a brother, Steven Robinson (Dianne) of Vinings, Georgia; sisters, Linda Robinson Garner (Rob) of Snellville, Georgia and Mary Robinson McNair (Greg) of Foley; nieces, Joy Roark (Dan) of Woodstock, Georgia and Andrea Moore (Brett) of San Antonio, Texas; nephews, Adam Garner (Andrea) of Lilburn, Georgia, Josh Robinson (Susan) of Vinings, Georgia and Philip Garner (Cynthia) of Suwanee, Georgia; grandnieces, Kyla and Meira Robinson and Abigail Garner; and grandnephews, Price Roark, Amos Robinson, Avery, Gavin and Isaac Moore, and Aron Garner.
