Jerilynn Laird Culmone, 47, a native of Yuma, Ariz., and a resident of Orange Beach, died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at a local hospital.
She was raised in Arizona, Texas and California. She was a resident of Baton Rouge, La., for 15 years and was a resident of Orange Beach for seven years. She loved family and dogs and enjoyed cooking and entertaining with friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joy, father, Jerry Laird, daughter, Katie, and niece, Rebecca.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, J.J. Culmone of Orange Beach; daughter, Amy Culmone of Orange Beach; step-mother, Sue Laird of Havasu City, Ariz.; six sisters and an uncle, Tom Laird of Missouri.
The family wishes to thank all family and friends for the love and support during this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 13 at Waterfront Park, Canal Road, Orange Beach.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Culmone Fund, Regions Bank, Orange Beach.
